Farmington, CT (July 29, 2008) - Premise Corporation, a leading provider of clinically-focused, integrated software solutions that optimize patient flow, has appointed John Hannon to serve as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. As Premise continues its substantial growth and momentum, Hannon will be responsible for the company’s overall operations and financial management.
Prior to joining Premise, Hannon served as CFO and COO of Mangrove Systems, Inc., a leading designer of next-generation switches for 3G and 4G wireless network providers which was sold to Carrier Access in March 2007. He has also served as vice president and general manager of Ascend’s Broadband Access group, where he led research and development, product management, SQA, and divisional financial goals. While at Ascend, Hannon increased revenues from a few hundred thousand to more than $60 million and managed the introduction of three new product platforms before Ascend was acquired by Lucent Technologies.
Hannon has also held leadership roles with Honeywell, General DataComm, ADC Telecommunications, Sahara Networks and MSA Venture Partners. He earned an MBA, as well as a bachelor of science in finance, from Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. Hannon’s appointment coincides with Premise receiving $2 million in Series B financing to support the increasing demand for the company’s award-winning patient flow products.
